Shine (Sharing Hope in Needs/Emergencies) Society was constituted in August 2011 for the capacity building of marginalized communities and local organizations without any discrimination of religion, race, caste and ethnicity.
Shine Society is a Christian, non-political, non-profitable, non-sectarian and social welfare organization.
Shine Society got registered on 29th December 2011 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, with the Registrar, Joint Stock Companies. ICT (Islamabad Capital Territory.

Shine Society focus on developing community based capacity building, sustainable livelihoods, affordable shelter, public & reproductive health, affordable formal and non-formal education, vocational/technical training, interfaith harmony and disaster risk reduction programs.
Structure
Mission & Goals
The organization consists of the General Body and the Executive Committee.
General Body is composed of 21 members & has the overall management and control of all the affairs of the Society.
The Executive Committee is comprised of 7 (seven) members (Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, General Secretary/Director, Treasurer and 3 Executive Members) elected from and by the General Body for the tenure of three years to formulate and monitor policies and plans of the Shine Society. The Executive Director runs the affairs of the organization with the support of the program, admin and finance teams.
