Preschool Section: Need
There are many public and private schools in Islamabad but getting admission in a public (government) or private school has become a big problem for poor and illiterate parents of slum children as young children cannot meet the admission test requirements.

Apprenticeship Project for Slum Youth
Apprenticeship Project for Slum Youth (on job training) Program of Shine Society
Shine Society in partnership with "TBF Trust, UK" has been implementing "Apprenticeship Project for Slum Youth" to encourage and support vulnerable youth of Islamabad & Rawalpindi to learn the skills (on job training) of their choice and to have decent earning opportunities to improve their earn their socioeconomic condition. The program aims at training 22 youth apprentices for the year November 2025 - October 2026 in various skills like auto mechanics, Printers and photo copiers repairing, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, stitching, beauticians, audio & video recording and editing, mobile repairing etc. repair through placement with the training facilities in twin cities (Islamabad & Rawalpindi.
Dress Designing & Stitching Center, F-6/2, Islamabad
Dress Designing and stitching Centre is providing dress designing and stitching training to the slum girls who could not complete their education and now getting apprenticeship training to learn life skills to earn to have decent earning and better socioeconomic life.
Follow Up Meetings of Apprenticeship Project
Monthly Follow Up Meetings are helping apprentices and their project supervisors to meet together and share ideas and progress in apprenticeship training and any issues they are facing in learning skills. This provide them an opportunity to analyze the problems and find their practical solutions.
Monthly Fellowship Meetings of Apprentices of the Apprenticeship Project
Monthly Fellowship Meetings provide apprentices of the
Apprenticeship Project for Slum Youth to have fellowship to pray and learn together and share ideas for improvement and betterment of the project.
